Our Year 3 students recently participated in a thrilling Physical Sciences incursion called “Hot! Hot!” – and it certainly lived up to its name!
The program introduced students to the fascinating world of heat and thermal energy. They learned how heat is produced, and explored the different ways it can move from one place to another.
Through hands-on experiments and engaging demonstrations, students discovered how heat transfers by conduction (through touch) and convection (through the movement of air or liquid).
It was a fun and fiery way to learn about the science of heat in our everyday lives!
