Our VET students from Unit 1–4 Community Services and Sport, Aquatics & Recreation participated in a valuable First Aid and CPR training course held onsite at the College.
Led by Ms Mubasshirah, our qualified first aid trainer, and supported by classroom teachers Ms Noori and Ms Dilara, the students gained essential lifesaving skills while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. The course provided both practical and theoretical knowledge, equipping students with the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations — skills that will prove useful not only in their future careers but also in everyday life.
A total of 64 students successfully completed the training, covering key areas such as CPR techniques, managing medical emergencies, treating injuries, and ensuring personal and public safety.
These trained students form an important part of our school community, often volunteering as First Aiders at College and community events, contributing to a safer and more prepared environment for all.
