SRC Initiative: "One Can We Can Project"

SRC members came together earlier this term to roll out a worthwhile project under the title " One Can We Can Project". This initiative enabled the whole school community to come together to donate one can of any food item that could go towards the Halal Food Bank for the Ansaar Project.

SRC Initiative: "One Can We Can Project"

An overwhelming response came for this project and the SRCs were able to pack all items in seven large boxes and pass it on to the representative of the Hala Food Bank. This collection will, InshaAllah, be distributed to refugee families and those in need of food rations in Melbourne.

SRC executives wish to thank the staff and students for their support and cooperation in this project. A special thanks to Dr Sonia Cheema for her leadership and coordination towards this initiative.

Alhamdulillah, it is nice to see the students coming together in solidarity for such worthy cause. This type of project will be on going and do look for announcement from SRC executives in future, InshaAllah.
